Tai Verley
Classical Text Instructor, Pre-College Intensive

Tai Verley (She/Her) is a NYC-born, Philadelphia-settled actor, director, and artist. After attending Vassar College for undergraduate studies, Tai enrolled in The New School for Drama, where she learned the Lee Strasberg Method of Acting and obtained her M.F.A. (Master of Fine Arts) degree. With local credits including Arden Theatre Company, Quintessence Theatre Company, Delaware Shakespeare Festival, and Philadelphia Artists’ Collective, Tai has also performed in NYC and in regional theatres across the United States. She is currently the Artistic Director of Revolution Shakespeare (RevShakes), a classical theatre company hoping to change the way we, as a society, see, hear, process, and most importantly, learn from the Bard's stunning body of work. Ask her about her brand-new puppy, Hugo.

Tai is disciplined, passionate, and remarkable in her ability to ask just the right questions that spark your own discovery. Her classes will have you hearing and listening to classical text in ways that demystify language, and allow you to access universal truth in non-contemporary language.
